Vincent Kompany insists that despite being a young coach, it is not a problem for him to coach the players of the Bavarians.
New Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has no concerns about his age, as he is not much older than some of the Bavarians’ players and is also younger than captain and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, he told FC Bayern TV on Saturday.
Bayern Munich have brought in Kompany from Burnley to take over as manager from Thomas Tuchel, and while the 38-year-old Belgian is a bit older than some of his players, UFABET he still believes that is not a problem for coaching the players.
‘As soon as I stopped playing football, I stopped being a footballer. But I understand. I can go back to my own experience. I work hard day and night to be the best coach.’
‘So I hope I can still teach them and give them more,’ Kompany said.
Kompany, at 38, was born on April 10, 1986, making him 38 years younger than Bayern Munich goalkeeper Neuer, who was born on March 27 of the same year, as well as Sven Ulreich (35), Thomas Müller (34), Harry Kane (30) and Eric Dier (30).
