Bayern Munich end pursuit of Jonathan Tah from Leverkusen

Bayern Munich have officially decide against signing Bayer Leverkusen’s centre-back Jonathan Tah, putting an end to a summer-long transfer saga.

Kicker, the Bavarian giants had shown significant interest in the German international, with personal terms reportedly agree early on.  However, negotiations between the clubs prove to be more challenging.

Leverkusen had set a firm deadline for the transfer, but Bayern struggle to meet the financial demands, particularly as they were awaiting the sale Bayern Munich of Matthijs de Ligt to Manchester United to fund the deal.
